you could always go through formula d first and try to land a spot in the d1gp, but you'd need a lot of money and practice and know how to properly tune your car

If you're talking about the first one it was an ER34 which is a 4 door, it's rwd with an rb25
The Canucklehead its not even a 4 door car so its not the er34
Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a decent stock one?
Malebranche well most stock er34's nowadays get caught up for drifting but most people do love the gtt and the gtr with conversions
The RX7 and Supra looked crazy good

What do you mean...they had this style from the start. Their cars are labeled with sponsorships mostly. If you go and check out public drifting events in Japan, there isn't all that to the visual of the car.

The RX7 vs Supra was rigged , it was very clear that the Supra did a clean run while the RX7 just stalls suddenly and it passed ?? Screw this event
First run... Supra under steers on entry drift and misses 1 clipping point. The rx7 follows close. That's a fair call for OMT
During OMT... Supra is not following close enough... and not hitting clipping points in lead run.

You are poorly informed. And yes I am a rotary guy I know my vehicle very well. While you may know more about big engines and how to make a car go real real fast in a straight line I know more about how these cars handle and how to apply their power to torque ratio to get the fastest lap possible and the only thing that hangs with it is a c5 vette carbon fibered beyond street legal standards and yes that car did need more than its plain Jane ls1 to do what I do. I would put my naturally aspirated 1.3 against anything with a ls or 5.0 badge any day of the week. I have daily driven mine for 2 years doing pizza delivery and 3 to 4 times a week I gotta show a mustang challenger or Camaro they ain't got it and when they get flames thrown on their hood at 130 as I hit 6th gear they drop off.

It was close, but in his chase he got too close and got scared and allowed a big gap to form while the other dude kept it constant.
